The beginning

A question that changed everything

It started with a simple question that refused to go away: why does luxury have to come at the cost of a life?

We looked at the fashion industry the beautiful bags, the premium leather, the aspirational branding and we saw a gap that nobody was filling the right way. Luxury goods that looked extraordinary, felt extraordinary, but were made without causing harm to a single living being.

That gap became our purpose. That question became YURA.

Founded in Chicago, Illinois by a family that believes deeply in doing things right, YURA was built from the ground up with one uncompromising vision: to create premium vegan leather accessories that rival and surpass anything the traditional luxury market has to offer. Not almost as good. Better. More considered. More intentional. More honest.

Every YURA bag is crafted from high-grade vegan leather that looks, feels and wears like the finest animal leather available anywhere in the world. The texture is soft and supple. The finish is refined and durable. The hardware is premium. The stitching is precise.

We spent months not weeks getting the materials right. Testing different compositions, different finishes, different constructions. Rejecting anything that did not meet our standard. Because our customers deserve the best, and our values demand nothing less.
